I co-founded ZiffyHomes, a co-living marketplace, and took it through Y Combinator's S18 batch. We hit $10M ARR within two years of launch.
The business was operations-heavy in a way software people underestimate - real houses, real tenants, real landlords, and a marketplace that only worked if both sides trusted the numbers. Most of what I know about unit economics I learned here, where a bad assumption showed up in the P&L within weeks.
We had a $10M Series A term sheet on the table along the way. The company eventually exited to a Tiger Global portfolio company.
